Legendary Coach Bob Seggerson Named Honorary Starter for 2025 Lima Masters Golf Outing
Lima, OH – November 25, 2024 – 4 the Friendship is thrilled to announce that Lima Central Catholic’s legendary basketball coach Bob Seggerson will serve as the honorary starter for the 2025 Lima Masters Golf Outing, set for July 19, 2025, at Colonial Golfers Club.
Coach Seggerson is a celebrated figure in Ohio high school basketball, recognized not only for his exceptional coaching achievements but for his lifelong commitment to developing strong, well-rounded young athletes. Over his distinguished 32-year coaching career, Seggerson amassed 518 wins, achieving an impressive 71% win percentage. His teams earned 20 sectional titles, 9 district titles, and 6 regional titles, along with two state runner-up finishes and a state title, earning him statewide recognition for his ability to build successful teams and nurture high-character athletes.
A proud 1966 graduate of Lima Central Catholic (LCC), Coach Seggerson’s connection to the school and the community has remained steadfast throughout his life.

In 2024, the event honored Elida’s legendary football coaches Jim Dally and Ron Jackson, whose influence extended far beyond the field.
